Lynne & Anthony

Weddings are a time of excitement, anxiousness and love.  Shooting a wedding is among the top most exciting times for a photographer.  I had the pleasure of being asked to second shoot a wedding with local photographer Mario Moran. Lynne and Anthony are a beautiful couple and were full of fun and giggles all through the whole wedding ceremony and well into the wee small hours.  I love second shooting as I can spend a bit of time taking the more candid shots with the flower girls and page boys, entertaining them while the important bride and groom shots are being taken.  I can have some fun with the kids and even the informal bridal party shots.   The grooms house is always a more relaxed affair and with Anthony and his dad and brother we had a great time chatting and capturing the fun of the grooms preparations.   Music is this families pastime and they were ready to give the performance of a lifetime!

Abbies 10th Birthday party at home

Children’s parties are not every ones cup of tea, but I love them.  The energy and excitement of having your friends in portraits with you is a memory that no child will forget.   I loved working with these wee ladies and the one wee boy who just had to get in with his sister.  The giggles of them as they dressed up with the props was infectious and we had a great time posing and making faces.  It really is a fun way to capture a milestone in their lives.

Family bonding at the holiday house.

Families memories are one of the things I love to capture. When it’s a mum and Dad you have been friends with for years it is even more special.  Columb, Claire and the boys Luke & Mathew, spent the day with me having fun, lunch, walking, paddling and building sandcastles at their gorgeous house on the shores of Lough Foyle in Donegal.   We had such a relaxing day on the beach!

Fun with the Family

A family shoot is always fun, especially when you are related to the kids as they are a bit more relaxed and more willing to pose the way you want them.  In December 2015 I took my nieces and nephews to the studio to create some lovely memories for their parents and grandparents as christmas presents.  I tried a slightly different editing process as well!  this is the best time to practice with non paying customers. x

The Canning Family Confirmation and First Communion Shoot

Aisling and Seamus asked me to take some shots of Jacks Confirmation in their home in Donegal.  The house looks over the gorgeous Donegal hills and we had a great time outside before the Irish weather took over.  We had a lot of fun and laughs with the boys and not to be out done young brother Finn dressed for his first Communion got in on the action.  A beautiful family to work with.  I hope you like the shots
